It is one of the most famous stadiums in Germany in which most international sport tournament where hosted: e.g. the Olympic Summer Games 1972 as well as games of the World Cup 1974 and European Championship 1988: It is the Olympic Stadium Munich. The Olympic Stadium Munich was the home stadium of FC Bayern Munich and TSV 1860 Munich from 1972 'til 2005. Furthermore Nottingham Forest won the European Champion Clubs' Cup in this stadium in 1979 and Olympique Marseille and Borussia Dortmund won the Champions League in 1993 and 1997.
