As of the sixth of february the Dutch website SoccerGameZ has released a FIFA '06 patch called the Gouden Gids Divisie Patch, updating the Dutch second league, plus updates for the Dutch first league, national team and national cup. The 26MB patch contains the following features :
- 1 complete new league (Gouden Gids Divisie)
- 21 new teams: AGOVV Apeldoorn, BV Veendam, Cambuur Leeuwarden, De Graafschap, Excelsior, FC Dordrecht, FC Eindhoven, FC Emmen, FC Omniworld, FC Volendam, FC Zwolle, Fortuna Sittard, Go Ahead Eagles, Helmond Sport, HFC Haarlem, MVV, Stormvogels Telstar, TOP Oss, VVV-Venlo, and Nederlands Elftal (national squad).
- 500+ new players, Updated Eredivisie (first league)
- Enhanced schedule Gatorade Cup (national cup)
