Description :
Tonight we're flying back to Central Europe visiting another candidate of the twelve FIFA Worldcup 2006 stadiums - the "Veltins Arena" of "FC Schalke 04" (the stadium had been called "Arena AufSchalke" before its change in name last year). It has been built in 2001 already and is (still, of course) belonging to Europe's most modern stadiums. Its unique dense and loud atmosphere created by the fanatic Schalke fans in connection with the construction of the roof (which can be closed) is well-known over Europe and has created many unforgotten games, like the spectacular 7-4 win of Schalke 04 against Bayer Leverkusen 3 weeks ago. Nevertheless, many fans of other teams ridicule this unusual football stadium and call it "the gym" ;). But decide for yourself if you like the stadium - just play some matches in it :) The stadium can be downloaded in two separate versions, one with the roof opened and another one with a closed roof.
