In Fifa I always felt the stadium sounds were good but there was space for more. So I decided to source HQ/HD crowed and stadium audio (or as close to best quality as I could find), from live footage/library sounds to create my own tailored ambience MP3’s that could be used as custom audio with the flexibility of playlists that Fifa allows.
Most use this feature for “chants”, but after testing I realised it could be pushed further and used for entire sequences of self made stadium audio to run throughout the game at long lengths and most important in STEREO. What started as personal use sound design practice I decided to release as a soundpack for the community as I think it would be something people might use.
