Daniel Passarella has been fired as Parma coach after just six weeks in the job.
Passarella,the former Argentina manager, saw his side lose five consecutive league matches after taking over from Renzo Ulivieri last month.
The final straw for the board came as Parma crashed 4-1 to Atalanta over the weekend. Parma currently sit just one place from the "red line" on Serie A, with two wins from 14 games.
Gedeone Carmignani will take temporary charge of the team for the game against Torino. Italian media reports have linked former Parma coaches Nevio Scala and Arrigo Sacchi with the job. |
