▶ KFA Changes April Training Site for National Team to Daegu

Seoul, April 3 (Yonhap) -- The Korea Football Association (KFA) said Wednesday that it has changed the training camp site for the national soccer team to Daegu from Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province.
The change, which the association has made due to unspecified 'unfavorable' conditions in Gyeongju, means that the soccer squad will stay in Daegu from April 12 to April 20, when they take on Costa Rica in a friendly match in the city.
The team will then move to the National Football Center in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, and engage in practice there ahead of their friendly with China in Incheon April 27. The two games this month are viewed as warm-ups for the World Cup finals to be held in South Korea and Japan from May 31 to June 30.
