▶ Cordoba to join Perugia on loan

PERUGIA, Italy, Jan 15 (AFP) - Perugia have agreed a deal that will bring Boca Juniors goalkeeper Oscar Cordoba to the Italian first division outfit on loan until the end of the season, the buying club's managing director Alessandro Gaucci said Tuesday.
Cordoba, the first-choice keeper for Colombia who won the Copa America last year, should arrive from Argentina by Thursday, said Gaucci.
"The agreement has been made but we just need to define a few details which will be ironed out in Perugia, given the player is on his way with his club directors."
Perugia will pay 400,000 euro and will get an option on the player when the current season ends.
Meanwhile, Perugia have offloaded Greek striker Demetrios Malitzis to Sporting Lisbon of Portugal, a deal that has also been sanctioned by Udinese who owned the player's registration.
