Serie A club Parma tied up a deal for Inter Milan's Turkish international striker Hakan Sukur, the selling club announced. Sukur, who "froze" out at the San Siro since Argentinian manager Hector Cuper arrived at the club, completed the deal with Parma.

The 30-years-old, Hakan Sukur, was one of the most prolific strikers in Europe when he played for Istanbul outfit Galatasaray but has yet to really make an impact in Italy after a previous unsuccessful stint with Torino.
The Turkish international will face a stiff competition for a place at Parma's starting line-up from Italian international Marco Di Vaio and Emiliano Bonazzoli. But he was way down the pecking order at Inter where Ronaldo, Christian Vieri, Mohamed Kallon, Alvaro Recoba, Nicola Ventola and Brazilian Adriano were all ahead of him in the pecking order. | |
