Incheon, April 26 (Yonhap) -- Korea's 'Red Devils,' the official supports club for the national soccer team, said Friday that about 5,000 of its members will attend Saturday's friendly against China at the Munhak World Cup Stadium in Incheon.
Kwak Hyun-duk, a team leader for the soccer supporters club, said that more than 10 busloads of Red Devils from the provinces will converge on the port city.
The 27 year old also said he was aware of the large number of China's Chiumis, or soccer worshipers, attending the match and said the chants and songs from both sides would make for a noise-filled 90 minutes.
Chinese fans are also expected to show up in great numbers with the city of Incheon and the Korea Football Association (KFA) announcing that some 3,000 tickets have been snapped up for the Chinese section.
China has not won an international A match against Korea in the last 20 years.
'The sheer number of Chiumis will be a morale booster for the visiting team,' said an official for the LG Group, the organizer of a Chinese soccer fan club called the 'Long Hun,' or Spirit of the Dragons, for the World Cup finals.
KFA officials and the Korea National Tourism Organization expect as many a 100,000 Chinese citizens to visit Korea during the World Cup finals.
