BUENOS AIRES, Feb 21 (AFP) - A boy of 14 died here on Thursday to take the death toll to three after a spate of football violence shook Argentina at the weekend.
Hospital sources would only reveal the boy's first name, Alejandro, though press reports say he was beaten unconscious with a bottle by supporters of Gimnasia La Plata ahead of the tie against Estudiantes on Sunday.
Gustavo Rivero, 24, died on Sunday after undergoing emergency surgery for stab wounds suffered in fighting between supporters of Racing Club and Independiente and Lucas Fernandez, 22, died instantly when shot in the head outside a third division match..
