The president of Brazil's best-supported football club Flamengo on Tuesday confirmed the manager and three vice-presidents had been fired.
Despite an expensively assembled side, Flamengo haven't won a single match since December 2 including seven league ties and four Libertadores Cup matches this year.
Accusations of boardroom corruption that rained down on the Rio De Janeiro club and a recomendation by a government commission that the entire board resign have pushed the club close to total crisis.
The three vice-presidents, Amir Bocaiuva of the club's legal department, Kim Peixoto in administration and Murilo Ramos in finance will play no further part in Flamengo, and manager Mario Monteiro had only been with the club 47 days...
