LIMA, Feb 22 (AFP) - Peru's professional footballers called off strike action late on Thursday after club presidents agreed to settle unpaid salaries to around 200 players, footballer's union AFAP said on Friday.
The threatened open-ended action would have disrupted the start of Peru's league championship which starts on Friday...
